VWS: vari-width shelf
The VWS Series is a three piece shelf that mounts behind rack rails to hold electronics that are wider than standard rail clearance (17.813"/452mm). Side supports can be installed with long or short side up to emulate 2U or 3U without using front rail space. Side supports expand 17.5–22" [445–559mm].
Shelf mounts behind rack rails to holes on inside angle of rails. Side slots also have keyhole openings to mount a single “set screw” on each side before mounting shelf, which allows shelf to be supported, pulled forward and secured using two screws per side. The assembly can also mount to rear rails to support equipment heavier than 50 lbs. [22.6 kg]. Made in the USA.
