National Guitars: Res-O-Tone Black

The ResoTone was designed from the ground up as a simplified version of the Resolectric.  Featuring our Hotplate Pickup system utilizing a Jason Lollar single coil pickup with passive volume and tone controls.  This instrument has a solid alder wood body.  The hard rock maple neck has an unbound rosewood fretboard with mother of pearl position markers. The solid angled headstock has a unique shape accentuated by Kluson closed gear tuners. Available in various colors.

If you want to bring your resonator chops to a rock and roll stage, National has a guitar for you. This is their Res-O-Tone electric, a simplified version of the Resoelectric, featuring their single cone Hotplate pickup system with a Lollar single coil and volume and tone controls. Solid alder body, hard rock maple neck and rosewood fretboard with Kluson tuners. This one is finished in a satin ivory. Very lightweight and fun to bust out the slide with a cranked up tube amp. With warranty and hardshell National case.

Beautiful and unique finish on a great sounding guitar. Each instrument is finished with a multi-staged hand-textured finish for an individual look and semi-smooth surface profile. No two are alike. The thin-gauge steel body has flat cut "f" holes, a formed back, and period-correct, traditional non-ribbed coverplate. Each mahogany neck clears 12 frets to the body and features an unbound ebony fretboard complete with mother-of-pearl position markers. Vintage-style plain tuners, ebony nut, and "National" stamped headstock complete the look this classic. 

The sound has all the bonk, splang and sweet reverberation that Nationals are famous for. Huge dynamic range and a deep, dark penetrating voice.
